This HISTORY
does not deal with "Church" history in general,
but with that which has its roots in the 19th and early
20th century in the British Isles and then spread to the
Americas and around the world known as Plymouth Brethren
and its various branches. The following quote defines the
position of separation taken by many Brethren.
"For the simplest believer the principle is
still as clear as at the beginning. Like the man born blind
in John 9.35-38, he comes out from all false systems, though
many true saints are still there, and approaches the True
Center, bows the knee and worships. He does not look round
to see how many or how few are gathered with him. His eyes
and heart are towards his Lord, Who gave him sighht and
salvation." W.R. Dronsfeld.
